Carhaix to Loudeac (V6)

Today was a long day as we could not find any accommodation. I guess the trains stopped running for a reason, but today's disused railway track was much wider than yesterday's and we had some clear wide views across the country as we travelled along. Some of the routes passed through small, well kept towns and there were some colourful murals on the stations, one of which was now being used by a petanque club. Loudeac was a dull, quiet town, but we did manage to find a warm restaurant with tasy food and a good wine list.

Pond on a short section of the Nantes-Brest canal. They have made these ponds so that the pike can lay their eggs and the young fish can develop before going back into the canal.

They really like painting on walls in this region!
